The NTPA aim for March Launch

The National Trans Police Asociation aims on launching its self on the world on 17th March 2010.  The NTPA was formed two years ago, to give support to all those that consider themselves to be somewhere on the Transgender spectrum, and working for the Police Service.  They also act as a gateway for the greater Transgender community and the Police Service.

"We are very excited that we are now going to be officially recognised by both the UK police Service and the wider transgender community in the UK, said Stephenie Robinson chair of the NTPA, it has taken us two years to reach this point, and a lot of hardwork and struggle, she added.  We are hoping that a few high profile figures will be able to join us at the launch to help celebrate the achievement and what it means to be a transgender person in the 21st century UK police service, Stephenie continued.

The NTPA launch takes place on Wednesday 17th March 2010 at NPIA Staff College, Bramshill, Hook, North Hampshire, it is a closed event by invitation only.
